Here is my rant on this species hunt. Why not take out the top prize in it and restrict it to species caught in club competitions only, boat and shore. This might encourage club members to make a greater effort to turn out for competitions

We are actually going to change look and features, not to keep you in dark, we will not have option change theme but yes, will have a new layout and I am sure you will like it.

I think he means allow users to have their own theme. On SMF there's an option providing the theme is installed for users to pick a theme. However there is also an Option which is installed currently for users to only use the default theme.

Thanks for fixing mine too, I only saw this post after I had posted in the old thread. Im liking the new format btw, I think its a great idea, should be much fairer and also easier to follow.

thats what im hoping too...

it also means that everyone has a chance of catching a species, its the ones that put in a special effort to catch as many as they can that will be rewarded.. also a good way of getting people out there to see if they can catch as many species as they can which should really make this interesting

One other thing. To make it easy for Steve and I, as you post more photos to your thread could you include the total number of species so far in your post.

for the people fishing the boat comp...

this is not a per boat, but per person competition, it doesnt matter what boat you are on, just as long as you are on a boat

so thread for boat is same as shore as in username followed by comp type...
e.g. stevecrow74 boat or stevecrow74 shore

People have different tastes, it will be a very tiring job if we have a lot of add ons. Since IAB has kept itself simple and fast loading, we can give a chance and see how people respond to a different appearance.

hell. Apparently, as of Friday the 6th at 6pm EST, theyve closed pre-registration which I think they only began the other day because theyve reached capacity. I didnt even know they had a capacity.

Ill keep an eye out, and well see if I can attend.
